About Cheryl Woodson, Christian Author & Inspirational Writer

Cheryl Woodson began college as an English major, graduating in 1990 with a degree in Printing Technology. After her career in sales, she spent several years searching her worth and purpose down worldly paths, to no avail. In the spring of 2022 Cheryl experienced a vivid, indelible dream. Later that fall, she sat down and began a mainstream romance novel with the dream as its basis. During this time, personal struggles arose that ended up guiding Cheryl back to her Christian roots after decades of detachment. As a result of God’s grace, she began a major course adjustment in the storyline of her first novel, Two Decembers. With each keystroke and each scripture sought out to add to the story, Cheryl was able to witness Jesus at work in her own life.

As a debut novelist she emerges as an authentic voice in Chrisian fiction. Her journey from an unforgettable dream to published author exemplifies the transformative power of faith – the very theme at the heart of her novel, Two Decembers.

When she is not working on the sequel novel, December’s Gifts, Cheryl is in the process of developing One Stray Sheep. Focusing on newcomers as well as those wishing to rekindle their faith as she has, the concept is based on Isaiah 53:6. “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way, and the LORD has laid on him the iniquities of us all.” Cheryl’s vision is for One Stray Sheep to become an approachable digital invitation to encounter and embrace Jesus and His redemptive teachings. In He alone is salvation found.
