One Stray Sheep

Give Back

All proceeds from the author's writings go back to local charities. Cheryl has a passion for supporting those in need while sharing the love of Jesus through their work. She spends many hours volunteering and giving back to the community.

MISSION:

Planted in faith like a mustard seed, One Stray Sheep exists to feed body and soul with God’s Word and compassionate service, trusting Him to grow it into refuge for many.

VISION:

We envision a Christ-centered ministry that nourishes souls with the truth of Jesus Christ—the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)—serves the hungry with compassion, and becomes a place of belonging for those who feel forgotten.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”  Matthew 13:31–32

The Why

We all wander.

The times we live in are not so different from the wilderness journeys of God’s people long ago. We lose heart. We forget who we are. We search for greener pastures, only to find ourselves lost—caught in doubt, regret, shame, and spiritual hunger.

One stray sheep—that is who we all are at one time or another.

One Stray Sheep exists to remind the wandering that they are seen, searched for, and deeply loved. No matter how far you’ve strayed, there is a Shepherd who has not stopped looking for you.

When Jesus said, “Feed my sheep,” it was not a call to perfection—it was a call to love. At One Stray Sheep, we believe that calling means feeding people with God’s Word and helping feed those who are physically hungry. We share the truth of the Gospel while supporting soup kitchens, food pantries, and charitable outreach—because faith is meant to be lived with open hearts and open hands.

The mission is simple:
to nourish souls,
to serve the hungry,
and to walk with the lost as they find their way home.
You are not forgotten.
You are not beyond reach.

And you do not have to walk alone.
