Week 2 of Lent invites us to look inward with honesty and courage. Before change can happen, awareness must begin. This week, we examine the habits, comforts, distractions, and worries that quietly shape our days and sometimes pull us away from God. Lent is not just about giving something up — it’s about clearing space so God can reshape our hearts. As we release what controls us and trust Him more fully, we create room for His presence, His peace, and His purpose to grow within us.
Day 8: Reflection: Awareness of our habits is the first step to change.
Question: Which habit draws me away from God?
Action: Reflect and pray for guidance.
Day 9: Reflection: We are often attached to things that control us.
Question: What habitual “comfort” might I release?
Action: Pause or change one habit today.
Day 10: Reflection: Letting go is an act of trust in God.
Question: Where do I struggle to trust Him fully?
Action: Surrender one worry to God in prayer.
Day 11: Reflection: God works in the empty spaces we create.
Question: What space could I intentionally create for God?
Action: Dedicate 15 minutes to prayer, meditation, or reflection.#GodsWork
Day 12: Reflection: Our hearts are meant to be filled with love, not distractions.
Question: What can replace distractions in my life?
Action: Replace one unhelpful habit with a positive one today.#FaithGrowth
Day 13: Reflection: Every act of kindness allows God to work through us.
Question: How can my actions reflect God’s love?
Action: Perform one unexpected act of kindness.
Day 14: Reflection: Lent is about giving up AND growing.
Question: How can I grow spiritually this week?
Action: Set one small spiritual goal.
Don’t let these reflections remain thoughts alone. Choose one habit to surrender. Create intentional space for prayer. Replace one distraction with an act of love. Growth happens in small, faithful steps. This week, take one step toward trust, one step toward kindness, and one step toward spiritual growth. God will meet you in the space you make.

Lent is such a perfect tone for reflection. Thank you for the nudge to take this time and reap the fruits of our changes and acts of love and kindness. ✝️
