Lent Series Week 3: Daily Decisions, Eternal Impact

As Lent continues, I realize that faith is not only about what I release or what I fill my life with — it is about how I live. This week, I choose to be available. I want my patience, my listening, my service, and even my forgiveness to become ways God works through me. My choices do not affect only me; they influence the people around me. So I open my hands and pray, “Here I am, Lord. Use me.”

Day 22:Reflection: God’s purposes are realized through our willingness.

Question: Am I willing to be used by God this week?

Action: Pray for guidance on how He might use you.

Day 23:Reflection: Serving others is a key way God works through us.

Question: Who needs my help today?

Action: Do one act of service.

Day 24:Reflection: God works through patience and understanding.

Question: Where do I need more patience today?

Action: Respond to someone with extra kindness.

Day 25:Reflection: Our choices impact more than just ourselves.

Question: How does my life influence others for good?

Action: Share an encouraging word or story.

Day 26:Reflection: Listening is a way God works through us.

Question: Who can I truly listen to today?

Action: Have a meaningful conversation without distractions.

Day 27:Reflection: Forgiveness opens the way for God’s work in us.

Question: Who do I need to forgive?

Action: Take a step toward reconciliation, even in thought.

Day 28:Reflection: God can use our talents in unexpected ways.

Question: How can I use my gifts to bless someone today?

Action: Offer your skills or time to help someone.

This week, I will not wait for a perfect opportunity. I will serve when I see a need. I will listen without distraction. I will forgive even when it feels hard. I will offer my gifts, my time, and my words for God’s purpose. I may not see the full impact of these small acts, but I trust that God multiplies willingness. And I choose to be willing.
